The studio is located off of Lakeville in Central Petaluma. Address is not public.
What is the Policy for (New Clients)?
(Exclusively to Women)
New clients must arrive at least 5min before the scheduled class, so there is not an interruption of the class. There is paperwork (Intake Form/Liability Form) that needs to be filled out prior to class, if you are late, you will have to return for the next scheduled class.
What does “Aloha Kai” mean?
In Hawaiian language ~
Aloha means ~ Love, Respect, Compassion, Affection & Peace.
(Alo) means “Presence” ~ (Ha) means “Breath” ~ (Kai) means “Ocean”
“God’s (Presence) surrounds you, His (Breath) fills you, and His Grace washes over you like the waves of the (Ocean)” ~Aloha Kai~
“Be (Present) with every (Breath) and flow through your practice like the waves of the “Ocean” ~Aloha Kai~
You say Aloha instead of Namaste…Why?
Set apart from the traditional philosophy of Yoga. As it is stated above, Aloha ~ in Hawaiian language ~ means Respect, Love, Compassion, and Affection. So when we say ~Aloha~ to eachother at the end of each class, we are saying, “I give you Love, Respect, Compassion & Affection.” It’s something that is very special to Stefanee, and close to her heart. Aloha my friends!
What types of Yoga do you teach?
Specializing in Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Yogalates
“Come as you are” And if that means you’re brand new to the practice that’s just fine. Do what you can, and whenever you feel you need to take a moment, do so.
Always listen to your body!
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing. Fitted tank-top/t-shirt/yoga pants/leggings. Nothing really too loose, shirts that hang down, or pants that have baggy ankles. You want to be able to focus on your workout, not your clothing getting in the way.
Do I need to bring my own mat and props?
Mats, Straps, Blocks, Waters & Towels are offered for your convenience. It is recommended that if you have a regular practice that you invest in a good supportive Yoga Mat.
